Views on our walk

Everything is finally blooming
Well we are almost into two weeks walking every day
and these are some of the sites we see. Everything is finally blooming
so here are some daffs and quince I believe. There are cherry trees blooming
and this morning it was foggy it seems to be lifting now, but there are a few pics
of the fog below.

Here they are the hens and Rooster at the pub.
We see them every morning on our walk.

Lonely tree in the fog
I love how this tree looks out on its own in the fog.
Very eerie! By the time we got back home we had
moisture on our hair from the fog!
The trees also had drippings on them from the fog.

Frogs in our pond

Hanging on for dear life
I heard a noise while I was out in the backyard
last evening and thought ohh look at that frog it has
an extra set of eyes on its head!!!!!!! Ummm no
it has another frog on its back, I am guessing its
mating season .. we can also hear frogs calling
their mates in the front yard and on our walk.

pheasant today in my backyard .. pecking at the window but I scared him away ..  

Angel with pink pontoofs

Dijanne likes this one .. see the angel that is her!! She thinks it looks like a renaissance painting .. can you see the angel?
This one was done with 3 dyes in the bath ... they just turn out like that !!

NEXT QUILT !!
This is the one I did like a snake with clothes pegs
started out ironing it but then though ohh never mind
lets just see how it turns out.. and this is it !!

stitch resisted

The one on the left is mine (Dijannes is the other one ) stitch resist and two miffed angels
this was the one we spent 6 hours stitching .. lesson learned the smaller stitched items did not show up /??
the larger ovals showed up but I did wrap then again with the thread also the fabric was a bit thick I think for this method!!

clothes peg method ?? never did this before!! 

6 Hours later ... after stitching,bitching walking not drinking and talking sheshhhh !!! 

Sunday morning eye candy

Well up early stitching some resist stitch and took a break. Pics later and Dijanne and I will be doing some dyeing ... hopefully all these hours of hand stitching will pay off with a beautiful one of a kind piece. In the meantime I belong to a list that is DyersLIST (yahoo group) and have seen a ladies work as she has her website on her signature... wonderful wonderful work... grab a cuppa and have a look.
