Kate Green
Well what a wonderful day we had with drawing class in the morning ...ummm we did perspective drawing .. like measuring .. when you see the artist holding out his pen or drawing device out in front of him measuring ... that is the technique we used..... and drawing without looking at the paper and what your doing... this was hard as you just naturally want to look down at what your doing. we did some empty space area drawing ... not sure if it had a name , and some swirly bits drawing .... all these have to be practiced each day if possible.

She gave us a slide show of her works from the beginning.. and her work has so much depth and meaning its fab. I am going to scan a few of her works ... enjoy

saturday morning class and lectures in the afternoon
Right have gone for my walk this morning a quick one as I have things to do, get myself ready for a drawing class with Liz Hunter a friend and the chairwoman of cambridge embroiderers guild. I really love the way she draws and sketches so this should be fab... taking my camera with me so will show the results later today as I havent posted in some time..is a gorgeous sunny day today here in cambridge wonderfully sunny and a blue sky.
After the drawing class we have Kate Green coming to do a talk on her works ... really looking forward to this as well.
If anyone wants an electronic copy of the workshops and speakers we are doing here in the cambridge area ... just let me know and I will email you one.

Oh have you been looking at Dijannes work? She has been doing some lovely stuff, if you have some time I would check it out.

Lifes got me busy
Wow sorry about being away so much but between work and lawn bowling and embroiderers guild ... limited time to do much else ... well of course I went to watch tv for a short bit
last night at about 8:00 pm and tada.... fell asleep work a few times once to change into PJs and
then woodpecker at the nuts in the container for the birds pecking away so I heard him at 6:00 ....got up , put a load of laundry on, went for a walk , got ready for work, then put the clothes on the clothesline then got into work early now I am just on here temporarily after work and before I run off to lawn bowling game should be done by 10:00 tonight perhaps have a minute on here ssssssoooo for now thats it ...
