Sorry I have been away for a bit .. cleaning and
stuff like that in preparation of my sister coming
to visit for 3 weeks and I have a week off work
for holidays.

Hows this for a silly amount of fabric!!

LOOK how nice and clean this
area is now. Well look out as I will be very busy
with teaching my sister all new techniques.
So you will see pictures and work in the next few
weeks keep posted .. She arrives today at about
12:30 here so I best get my butt in gear and
finish up the rest of the cleaning I need to do.
Keep posted its going to be a busy few weeks.

Fat Tuesday, Pancake Tuesday however you want to say it ..... the action is in New Orleans.
The pictures below are of when we went to New Orleans in 2000 on Feb 27th so exactly 6 years ago.
Mind you at the time it was a couple of weeks before mardi gras but there was still alot of things happening in the Big Easy.
If anyone is close to the area please make the trip there.. as we all know it was hit by hard times and is trying to rebuild its city one again.
The food, the people ... fantastic .. cajun and creole.. Such an experience and lucky to have had
that experience.
One day I will go back there to see my kin folk.
