Hand made paper for books

Here are a few books I have been doing these are tissue paper black/ then used some bleach to do a resist on them... turned out good no?
The other one that is pinky is hand dyed newprint paper with procion dyes ...
What do you think?

Thatching a roof

This is in the village one of the houses being thatched. Its a dying art to do this thatching. Years ago they used to use local reeds to do the thatching and I didnt ask him if these were local or from somewhere in europe... lovely job. One more pic of them doing the thatch to come. 

RED HOT

Poker that is .. this is one of the red hot pokers in my garden . I really like the colour composition and the way it looks.
