Cambridgeshire Embroiders Guild Centinary Lunch

This is a great pic of the group that attended the luncheon. The lady in the blue and yellow and white striped dress Maggie Paykel did a fantastic job. I would like to thank her every so much for first ordering the food and then coming in at 9.00 and preparing everything for the luncheon. Expectially since she had just came back from Chicago the night before. Thanks to all the ladies who helped out in making this all happen. If anyone is near enough in cambridgeshire and would like to join please do feel free to leave a message on my blog.
Well done ladies on all the work that you brought in and gave us a chance to see your work. Posted by Picasa

Liz Hunters work

This is a piece my friend Liz Hunter did.
I was really trying to put this piece or the other one she did in my box to go home... I love her work its so detailed with some very talented hand work that she does and the eye for colour she has is fantastic. Liz was not able to attend the meeting so I have posted all the pictures I have of the pieces that were brought.

Liz this whole post is for you. Concentrate on getting yourself well and see you really soon.
Your in my prayers.
OK now how much do you want for this piece?

Post card swaps I have been in

Alot of people found this very interesting as they either had heard of this happening in the US more so then here in the UK but doing postcard swaps and they were amazed you send them in the mail just like this without an envelope. I have my "Cloth, Paper, Scissors" collection to show people. Some of the ladies had never seen them and found them interesting. Posted by Picasa
