Jane Callender workshop

Well what a lovely day we had stitching and bonding .. indigo dyeing our creations .. it was great.

I have a few pics of what we created! Well the in progress ones anyways .. as it was only a one day workshop and really we should have had two .. but we got the idea and had a great class.

Here the pieces are oxidizing after one or two dips in the indigo dye bath

We also have some stones with pantyhose on them for weights .. I would have loved to see the stones after .

On friday night and saturday this week .. we are having Jane Callender come and do a talk for us and a workshop on the saturday... how lucky are we. I think there are a few spaces if anyone is interested ... its in cambridge UK at Shirley School. You can get more information and a list of our Programme. We really have some good speakers and textile artists coming. For up and coming workshops we can put you on a waiting list as we must ask the members if they would like to go first then you will be on the reserve list.
