At work with my quilts..

Its like my own little art gallery at work :)
They moved us around in the office and I had this
blank canvas.

Whats a girl to do ? Fill it with her Quilts !

I do get a fair amount of compliments on them.

I am way busy with online courses ... and trying out new textures.
These are samples well some are larger then others ..
I have the last lesson from Lynda and Carol online course.
I have their new book ... which is fantastic ...
I have the new felting book by Lizzie Houghton and
going to be doing a painting textures workshop with
Gary Reef ... keep your eyes peeled for this .. his work
is super fantastic ! SSSoooo not enough hours in the day
keep your eyes here .. I will be doing a give away in the
near future so once again WATCH THIS SPACE.

Paint, Paint and more paint

These are some works in progress and some are almost done .. except for the stitch and or mounting .. What do you think ?

Africaan Rusks

In preparation for Laura and Fred coming to visit here is Lauras' blog.. I have made some africaan rusks so they feel at home when they come over to visit us next weekend.... hopefull they will last till then ... Laura gave me the recipe and now I am hooked.
Awaiting your arrival :) Laura owns trapsuutjies company which sells fabric paints and supplies. I believe I did a piece which I blogged using some of Lauras' paints. Dijanne and Annette both use these fabric paints and love them. I am sure alot of others use Lauras paints as well.
Laura will be attending the Festival of Quilts and I shall go for a few days to help them out at the stand as well. Watch this space for some work with the paints.
