Well I have been really busy with getting ready for the show in belgium 'Colours of Africa' as I have to have pieces ready to take there and I am getting nervous now that I have my pieces ready and enough in time. Before then I am off to the US for a week with work so I will take some pieces with me to hand sew things ..
I dont want to show you to much and spoil the surprise for those who will be going.
Is anyone going to Colours of Africa in Essen that reads my blog ????
It is running the weekend of April 12- 18 2010 with workshops and textile vendors such as The AfricanFabric shop with Magie and Bob and Laura
of Trapsuutjies fabric paint.I love the pieces I have laid out that I have hand dyed but the bottom bit needs replacing with something ... must have a play.
Oh and yes Joe has asked me to make him a hat in felt too so I am working on one for him. Bob from The African Fabric shop has tried on my felt hats and he would like one of them .. they really suited him.
OK well I am still alive and felting.!!!! sewing!!! and stitching... more soon
