pheasant today in my backyard .. pecking at the window but I scared him away ..

Our area is experiencing a surge in the population of phesants....I am thrilled that I have seen 4 males up here near the house. I can't wait to get the new house built out by the woods because there should be more back there. I want to get some turkeys too so we can restock them. I am taking a class that teaches you to make a "backyard habitat" according to the guidelines of the National Wildlife Federation. Sitting on 6.8 acres it's gonna be a BIG backyard....
