Workshop On the Web WOW for short

If some of you ladies have never heard of the website that you subscribe to ...... have a look
there is a taster one.
I just wanted to mention that Maggie Grey is going to be in Vancouver canada and if you can .... do attend she has some fab, fab work and her book Raising the surface is wonderful as well.
I have met her and she is a wonderful lady she is exhibiting with complex cloth very up and coming thing including Jane Dunnwold ... for those who dont know who she is she has an excellent book out called Complex cloth. check this website out.

Maggie is having an exhibition to coincide with teaching in Vancouver. Running from 8-18 September at the fibreEssence gallery in Dunbar Street, Raising the Surface will examine the role of texture and form - ranging from surface stitching to three dimensional works. Sketchbooks and design boards will accompany the work. The embroidery, detail shown right, is called Leaf Flight and is part of a series based on Rainforest studies. WOW is so very cool - I've only been a subscriber for the June and now the Sept ones, but ended up back ordering some (back paying? for access, anyway, not sure what words to use!) I find that I get so much out of these to play with... do you reckon they're good value?

I was thinking about subscribing also, but would love to hear more first from those who do. I have Maggie's book and it looks great, but I haven't found time to play with it yet, sigh.
