6 Stones in the sixth end UNHEARD OF!

CANADA WINS THE MENS OLYMPICS CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP

Hurry , Hurry hard. This is something that you yell when the sweepers are
sweeping your stone down the ice. If anyone did watch the game or games
you would hear them ....some of them even end up losing their voices.

Well I am so so happy that canada won the mens olympic curling championship....
GO CANADA !!!!!
The ladies didnt do so bad either they got a bronze yipeeeee.

What most of you dont know is that I used to curl for about 6 years
when I used to live back in canada, so this is very close to my heart.

Please indulge me

O Canada
Our home and native land
True patriot love, in all our sons command.

With Glowing hearts, we see thee rise
The true north strong and free

From far and wide
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

God keep our land
Glorious and free
O Canada we stand on guard for thee

O Canada we stand on guard forrrrrrrrrrrrr theeeeee

Well done to Canada. Our curling team was bottom of the table, but just thrilled to be up there with the "big boys". In NZ, they still curl on frozen lakes here in Otago.

Your painted pieces look great!

I'm one of those people who still doesn't get it! (Mind you, I fell asleep in front of the Winter Olympics the other day - I'm not the biggest sports fan.) Shouldn't they rename curling just "Cleaning on Ice"? ;-) Yay Canada, though! Ever thought of taking it up again?

I watched ever curling match I could and your Canadian men were the BEST! I was yelling and cheering when they won. I was even happy when they beat the American team.

YES - wasn't it a GREAT game!!!
I wished the media would have waited until Brad had finished talking to his Mom back home before making him do his interview!
I felt so bad that she wasn't well enough to be there with him!
There will be a HUGE party in Nfld. when they arrive home!!!
WAHOOOOO CANADA!!!
Our BEST winter Olympics ever!!!
