What is it?
Ok some of you may have seen this already and others may not have ... What is it ? see how the lines go around yet form a rosette .... this is a fantastic example of nature. The colour is also amazing.

Is it a type of cauliflower? I think I have seen them in magazines but I never met one in person.
Is it brocoflower, and so yummy,
thats my guess.

I confirm it is a kind of brocoli, named Romanesco in France. Beautiful, isn't? It is easily found here.
It's a lovely colour, and very attractive shape too.
It would be interesting to try and print with it!
We get them from time to time in our grocery store here. I too think they call them brocoflower. Very different!
They seem to call them romanesco in our greengrocers - they're almost too pretty to cut up and eat, aren't they! GORGEOUS!!
My children call it: "Dinosaur-vegetable",because these "towers" look like a unknown dinosaur. :-)
